Reports: UEFA backs off FIFA boycott threat
UEFA is reportedly set to withdraw a threat to boycott FIFA tournaments over a plan to partially privatize football tournaments. The Under-20 Women's World Cup is to be hosted by Poland next month.
English newspapers The Times, the Guardian and news agency Reuters reported on Wednesday that UEFA, football's European governing body, was set to drop its threat to boycott all FIFA tournaments.
